Due and Ferber International Research Award

 

INFORMATION ON RECIPIENTS

International graduate students from developing countries selecting the Gender Relations in International Development (GRID) Interdisciplinary Minor offered by the Women and Gender in Global Perspectives Program (WGGP) are eligible to apply for grants of up to $1,000 for expenses related to their dissertation research addressing international issues of women, gender, and development. In selecting recipients, preference will be given to female students whose work promises to make significant contributions to the improvement of women's lives and gender equity in the developing world. One quarter of the funding will be made available to African women.

Applicants should submit the following:
1. A completed application form, available by contacting the WGGP Program or online.
2. A proposal of the dissertation research project
3. One letter of reference
4. A budget, including other funding applied for or received.
